In Thursday's league match, the visiting Ponca City Wildcats football squad scored a close 13-7 victory over the Putnam City Pirates.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Capitol Hill Redwolves (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 6A-II District 2 match, on Thursday, October 20.
