In Thursday's non-league game, the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) football team knocked off the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), by a score of 46-16.
The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Lake Norman toppled Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 16-14, in a non-league game.
The Wonders now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mooresville for a non-league game on Thursday, October 20. A.L. Brown will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 35-14 non-league win over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-0.
