In Thursday's non-league game, the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) football team tipped the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), by a score of 29-22.
The Buckin' Elks (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears come into the non-league game with a 7-0 record.
The Trojans now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Starmount for a non-league game on Thursday, October 20.
