In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Sumter Fighting Gamecocks football squad scored a good 22-12 victory over the Carolina Forest Panthers.
In their next game, the Fighting Gamecocks clash with the St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 20. Sumter will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Sharks enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Loris (Loris, SC).
