The East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) football defeated the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), 25-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 20. East Surry will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Blackhawks enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 22-14 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC).
The Falcons (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league bout with a 0-8 record. In their last bout, North Wilkes was toppled by Surry Central (Dobson, NC), 16-0, in a non-league bout.
