The Pioneers (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Freedom knocked off Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 40-20, in a non-league game.

The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Alexander Central for a non-league game on Thursday, October 20. Hibriten will meet a Cougars team coming off a 32-30 non-league loss to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.
