The Lapeer Lightning held off the host Midland Chemics volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Lightning now have a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bay City Western for a test on Tuesday, October 18. Lapeer will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
