In Thursday's league battle, the host Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks soccer squad scored a close 3-1 win over the Lewis-Palmer Rangers.
The Red-Tailed Hawks (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Kadets go into the 4A Pikes Peak battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Air Academy nipped Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Rangers (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears go into the 4A Pikes Peak battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Palmer Ridge by Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
