The crowd at Thursday's league test between the The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Ellicott Thunderhawks (Calhan, CO), saw The Vanguard School's soccer squad knock off Ellicott by a margin of 4-1.

The Coursers now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dolores Huerta Prep for a 2A Black Forest test on Tuesday, October 18. The Vanguard School will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Lamar (Lamar, CO). The Scorpions record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Ellicott drops to 1-9 on the season. The Thunderhawks host Lake County (Leadville, CO) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 15. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 11-2. Lake County won 12-2 in their recent league test against Sheridan (Denver, CO)
