In Thursday's league battle, the host Mesa Ridge Grizzlies soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Widefield Gladiators.
The Grizzlies now sport a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Discovery Canyon for a non-league test on Saturday, October 15. Mesa Ridge will encounter a Thunder squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Widefield drops to 4-9 on the season. The Gladiators host Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO) to encounter the Cougars in a 4A/3A CSML South test on Tuesday, October 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 4-8. Coronado won 1-0 in their recent league test against Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO)
