The Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) softball the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE), 10-7 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Storm (24-10) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 31-8 record. In their last bout, Lincoln East was routed by Gretna (Gretna, NE), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
The Silver Hawks now possess a 27-14 record.
