Maryland High School Volleyball - Atholton edged by Long Reach

The Long Reach Lightning held off the host Atholton Raiders volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Lightning now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a Howard County test on Tuesday, October 18. Long Reach will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Glenelg (Glenelg, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 15-0.

The Raiders (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD). The enter the Howard County test with a 8-1 record.
