In Thursday's non-league contest, the Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY) volleyball squad were winner over the host Greenwood Gators (Bowling Green, KY), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bruins face the Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 15. Central Hardin will attempt to better on its 28-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 21-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY).

With the loss, Greenwood moves to 11-19 on the year.
