The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) volleyball were winner over the visiting Irene/Wakonda Eagles (Irene, SD), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Elk Point-Jefferson betters its record to 16-8 on the year. The Huskies travel to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD) to face the Quarriers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 15. The Quarriers go into the outing with a record of 15-8. Dell Rapids won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Deubrook (White, SD)

The Eagles now sport a 4-19 record. They play next when they host Canistota for a B Region 5 outing on Monday, October 17. Irene/Wakonda will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Howard (Howard, SD). The Hawks record now stands at 7-15.
