Maryland High School Volleyball - Hammond over Wilde Lake

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD) and the visiting Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD), saw Hammond's volleyball squad beat Wilde Lake by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Hammond upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Golden Bears host Reservoir (Fulton, MD) to play the 'Gators in a Howard County bout on Tuesday, October 18. The 'Gators go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

The Wildecats now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Reservoir for a Howard County bout on Monday, October 17. Wilde Lake will play a 'Gators squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Maryvale Prep (Brooklandville, MD). The 'Gators record now stands at 8-3.
