The Sturgis Brown Scoopers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers to 0 in the Scoopers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Scoopers now possess a 4-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Cloud for a non-league game on Saturday, October 15. Sturgis Brown will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-13.
The Golddiggers (2-23) will now prepare for their game against Douglas (Box Elder, SD). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 10-13 record. In their last game, Douglas was dropped by Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD), 2-1, in a non-league game.
