Illinois High School Volleyball - Stagg edged by Lincoln-Way Central

The Lincoln-Way Central Knights held off the visiting Stagg Chargers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Knights now have a 23-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marian Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, October 15. Lincoln-Way Central will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 10-17.

The Chargers (9-20) will now prepare for their test against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts enter the SouthWest Suburban test with a 12-18 record. In their last test, Andrew was nudged by Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
