In Thursday's league battle, the host Plainfield North Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Romeoville Spartans.
The Tigers (20-8) will now prepare for their battle against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners come into the non-league battle with a 13-13 record. In their last battle, Nazareth Academy achieved victory over Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 15. Romeoville will attempt to advance on its 10-13 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 12-12 record after their 2-0 league win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).
