The Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) volleyball overcame the visiting Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ), 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Safford upgrades its record to 14-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Sabino (Tucson, AZ) to play the Sabercats in a 3A - South outing on Tuesday, October 18. The Sabercats go into the outing with a record of 18-10.

The Lions now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they host San Miguel for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 18. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will play a Vipers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Safford (Safford, AZ). The Vipers record now stands at 2-10.
