In Friday's league match, the host Northeast Rebels football squad scored a close 12-7 victory over the Anamosa Raiders.
In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 20. Northeast will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Golden Hawks enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 42-22 league win over Albia (Albia, IA).
