The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Anzar Hawks (San Juan Bautista, CA) and the visiting Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons (Hillsborough, CA), observed Anzar's football squad edge Crystal Springs Uplands by a tally of 28-26.

The Hawks now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Trinity Christian for a Pacific Coast (8 Man) contest on Saturday, October 21. Anzar will play a Warriors squad coming off a 56-0 league loss to Priory (Portola Valley, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
