Ohio High School Football - Independence prevails Beachwood

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) and the visiting Beachwood Bison (Beachwood, OH), observed Independence's football squad defeat Beachwood by a count of 31-6.

The Blue Devils now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a Chagrin Valley - Metro contest on Saturday, October 21. Independence will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 33-0 league loss to Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 3-6.

Coming up next, the Bison encounter the Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Metro contest, on Friday, October 20. Beachwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 35-21 league win over Brooklyn (Brooklyn, OH).
