Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 72-12 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawkins (Hawkins, TX). The Hawks come into the 2A-1 Region III District 10 challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Hawkins was ripped by Frankston (Frankston, TX), 63-13, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Union Grove for a 2A-1 Region III District 10 challenge on Thursday, October 19. Big Sandy will meet a Lions team coming off a 28-7 league loss to Harleton (Harleton, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-3.
