California High School Football - Big Valley Christian prevails Mira Loma

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) and the visiting Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA), observed Big Valley Christian's football squad defeat Mira Loma by a count of 36-28.

The Lions now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Stone Ridge Christian for a Central California Athletic Alliance contest on Friday, October 20. Big Valley Christian will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 35-6 non-league win over Elite (Vallejo, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Matadors encounter the Lindhurst Blazers (Olivehurst, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 20. Mira Loma will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Blazers go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 38-7 non-league win over Riverbank (Riverbank, CA).
