The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors football team (Sergeant Bluff, IA), was beaten 34-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA)
The Crusaders (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen come into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, MOC-Floyd Valley achieved victory over Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA), 22-12, in a league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sioux Center for a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 20. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will meet a Warriors team coming off a 25-6 league win over Carroll (Carroll, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-1.
