In Friday's league game, the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) football team knocked off the host Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), by a score of 39-14.
The Colonels (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Juggernauts come into the 3A District 5 game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Lloyd Memorial was knocked off by Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY), 41-0, in a league game.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lexington Catholic for a 3A District 5 game on Friday, October 20. Pendleton County will battle a Knights team coming off a 41-0 league win over Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Knights record now stands at 4-4.
