Michigan High School Football - Marion trounces Brethren

In Friday's league match, the visiting Marion Eagles football squad scored a big 68-12 victory over the Brethren Bobcats.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Bellaire Eagles (Bellaire, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 21. Marion will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 52-6 league loss to Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI).

The Bobcats (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Portagers enter the non-league match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Onekama was crushed by Au Gres-Sims (Au Gres, MI), 52-30, in a non-league match.
