In Friday's league match, the host Shadyside Tigers football squad scored a big 41-7 victory over the Bridgeport Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 20. Shadyside will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Seminoles enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 41-6 non-league win over Frontier (New Matamoras, OH).
The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Waterloo (Atwater, OH). The Vikings enter the non-league bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Waterloo was overwhelmed by Lowellville (Lowellville, OH), 40-8, in a league bout.
