North Carolina High School Football - Sanderson routed by Cardinal Gibbons

The Sanderson Spartans football team (Raleigh, NC), was ripped 50-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC)

The Crusaders (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals come into the 4A CAP 6 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Broughton trounced Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC), 42-38, in a league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Enloe for a 4A CAP 6 challenge on Friday, October 20. Sanderson will meet a Eagles team coming off a 49-0 league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
