Pennsylvania High School Football - Shamokin Area victorious over Central Columbia

October 13, 2023: Coal Township, PA 17866

In Friday's non-league match, the host Shamokin Area Indians football squad scored a good 33-21 victory over the Central Columbia Bluejays.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 20. Shamokin Area will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 54-0 non-league win over Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA).

The Bluejays (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Athens (Athens, PA). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Athens was toppled by Canton (Canton, PA), 42-19, in a league match.
