The Central Private Redhawks football team (Baker, LA), was ripped 66-22 in Friday's league challenge with the host Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA)
The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kentwood (Kentwood, LA). The Kangaroos come into the 1A District 9 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Kentwood trounced McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA), 12-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Redhawks now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thrive Academy for a 1A District 9 challenge on Thursday, October 19. Central Private will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-0 league loss to Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.
