The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) and the visiting Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA), observed Montour's football squad bounce Chartiers Valley by a count of 49-7.
The Spartans now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Blackhawk for a WPIAL AAAA Parkway contest on Friday, October 20. Montour will play a Cougars squad coming off a 10-6 league loss to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-8.
