North Carolina High School Football - Chase trounces Polk County

October 13, 2023: Columbus, NC 28722

In Friday's league match, the visiting Chase Trojans football squad scored a big 70-26 victory over the Polk County Wolverines.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills match, on Friday, October 20. Chase will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-8 record after their 48-0 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC).

The Wolverines (4-4) will now prepare for their match against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers enter the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, East Rutherford routed R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 42-37, in a league match.
