New York High School Football - Colonie Central knocks off Schenectady

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) and the host Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), observed Colonie Central's football squad thwart Schenectady by a count of 45-14.

The Raiders now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Shenendehowa for a Section 2 AA contest on Friday, October 20. Colonie Central will play a Plainsmen squad coming off a 34-0 league win over Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 6-0.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) in a Section 2 AA contest, on Friday, October 20. Schenectady will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Scotties go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 41-14 league loss to Shaker (Latham, NY).
