Louisiana High School Football - Silliman Institute prevails Columbia Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Silliman Institute Wildcats (Clinton, LA) and the visiting Columbia Academy Cougars (Columbia, MS), observed Silliman Institute's football squad defeat Columbia Academy by a count of 35-6.

The Wildcats now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Oak Forest Academy for a MAIS 5A District 3 contest on Friday, October 20. Silliman Institute will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 35-12 non-league win over Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-5.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Parklane Academy Pioneers (McComb, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 20. Columbia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 50-13 non-league win over Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS).
