Mississippi High School Football - Columbus held off by Neshoba Central

In Friday's league game, the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) football team tipped the host Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), by a final score of 25-24.

The Rockets (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Vikings come into the 6A Region 2 game with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Warren Central nipped Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS), 19-18, in a league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgeland for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Friday, October 20. Columbus will meet a Titans team coming off a 28-14 league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Titans record now stands at 2-5.
