The Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) football overcame the visiting Cornell Raiders (Coraopolis, PA), 42-13 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Rangers face the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) in a WPIAL A Black Hills bout, on Friday, October 20. Fort Cherry will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 2-6 record after their 41-19 league loss to Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA).
The Raiders (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Buccaneers enter the WPIAL A Black Hills bout with a 1-8 record. In their last bout, Chartiers-Houston was toppled by Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA), 62-0, in a league bout.
