North Carolina High School Football - Cox Mill drops to Lake Norman

October 13, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

In Friday's league game, the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) football team knocked off the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), by a final score of 27-10.

The Wildcats (8-0) will now prepare for their game against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings come into the 4A Greater Metro game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, South Iredell was dropped by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 28-14, in a league game.

The Chargers now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a 4A Greater Metro game on Friday, October 20. Cox Mill will battle a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 30-6 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 2-6.
