St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA), 14-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Amant improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Dutchtown (Geismar, LA) to battle the Griffins in a 5A District 5 test on Friday, October 20. The Griffins come into the test with a record of 5-1. Dutchtown won 35-16 in their recent league test against Live Oak (Watson, LA)
With the loss, Denham Springs drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host East Ascension (Gonzales, LA) to battle the Spartans in a 5A District 5 test on Friday, October 20. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-6. East Ascension lost 33-14 in their recent league test against Walker (Walker, LA)
