North Carolina High School Football - White Oak overwhelms Dixon

October 13, 2023: Holly Ridge, NC 28445

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) and the host Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), observed White Oak's football squad bounce Dixon by a tally of 50-14.

The Vikings now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Richlands for a Coastal 3A contest on Friday, October 20. White Oak will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-10 league win over West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-2.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a Coastal 3A contest, on Friday, October 20. Dixon will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 10-7 league win over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).
