Pennsylvania High School Football - Dunmore topples Western Wayne

October 13, 2023: Dunmore, PA 18512

The Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) football defeated the visiting Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), 20-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bucks face the Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 bout, on Friday, October 20. Dunmore will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 26-25 league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA).

The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Chiefs enter the Lackawanna 2 bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Lakeland lost by West Scranton (Scranton, PA), 28-21, in a league bout.
