The Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) football defeated the visiting East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA), 33-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) in a 5A District 5 bout, on Friday, October 20. Walker will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 35-16 league loss to Dutchtown (Geismar, LA).
The Spartans (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Live Oak (Watson, LA). The Eagles enter the 5A District 5 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Live Oak was toppled by Dutchtown (Geismar, LA), 35-16, in a league bout.
