The Hempfield Black Knights football team (Landisville, PA), was beaten 49-27 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Exeter Township Eagles (Reading, PA)
The Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA). The Buckskins come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 2 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Conestoga Valley was beaten by Manheim Central (Manheim, PA), 47-14, in a league challenge.
The Black Knights now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Cedar Crest for a Lancaster-Lebanon 1 challenge on Friday, October 20. Hempfield will meet a Falcons team coming off a 48-6 league win over J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.
