Florida High School Football - Mulberry nips Frostproof

In Friday's league match, the host Mulberry Panthers football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Frostproof Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Ida Baker Bulldogs (Cape Coral, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 20. Mulberry will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 0-7 record after their 34-0 league loss to Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL).

With the loss, Frostproof drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Fort Meade (Fort Meade, FL) to battle the Miners in a 2S District 13 test on Friday, October 27. The Miners come into the test with a record of 6-0.
