The Rogue River Chieftains football team (Rogue River, OR), was ripped 38-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR)
The Panthers (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Illinois Valley (Cave Junction, OR). The Cougars come into the 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Illinois Valley trounced North Douglas (Drain, OR), 61-40, in a league challenge.
The Chieftains now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glide for a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) challenge on Friday, October 20.
