Louisiana High School Football - Grand Lake defeats Lake Arthur

In Friday's league match, the visiting Grand Lake Hornets football squad scored a good 28-0 victory over the Lake Arthur Tigers.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA) in a 2A District 5 match, on Friday, October 20. Grand Lake will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 1-6 record after their 48-6 league loss to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA).

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Welsh (Welsh, LA). The Greyhounds enter the 2A District 5 match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Welsh ran past DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA), 22-0, in a league match.
