Nebraska High School Football - Gretna overwhelms Omaha South

October 13, 2023: Gretna, NE 68028

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) and the visiting Omaha South Packers (Omaha, NE), observed Gretna's football squad bounce Omaha South by a tally of 63-0.

The Dragons now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln East for a non-league contest on Friday, October 20. Gretna will play a Spartans squad coming off a 38-13 league win over Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.

Coming up next, the Packers play the Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE) in a A District 2 contest, on Thursday, October 19. Omaha South will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Chieftains go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 34-10 league loss to Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE).
