The Ralls Jackrabbits (Ralls, TX) football edged the visiting Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX), 28-21 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Jackrabbits face the Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX) in a 2A-2 Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, October 20. Ralls will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Longhorns enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 38-34 league win over Sudan (Sudan, TX).
The Owls (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Bovina (Bovina, TX). The Mustangs enter the 2A-2 Region I District 3 bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Bovina nudged Crosbyton (Crosbyton, TX), 29-26, in a league bout.
