In Friday's league game, the Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) football team got by the host Heidelberg Oilers (Heidelberg, MS), by a score of 41-40.

The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their game against North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS). The Eagles come into the 2A Region 8 game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, North Forrest nipped Richton (Richton, MS), 48-20, in a league game.
