The Houston County Lions defeated the visiting Pleasant Home Eagles football squad by a tally of 35-7 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Lions face the McKenzie Tigers (McKenzie, AL) in a 1A Region 2 bout, on Friday, October 27. Houston County will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Brantley (Brantley, AL). The Bulldogs enter the 1A Region 2 bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Brantley lost by Georgiana (Georgiana, AL), 26-0, in a league bout.
